This is a special fabric, its a raw silk in a grenadine weave. The dryness and slubbiness of raw silk but weaved as a grenadine.

Autumnal Colours
Bitter Chocolate, Coffee, Rust, Heather, Moss, Indigo, Olive Drab, Charcoal - the colour palette for Autumn and Winter is sumptuous, rich and generous. Colours benefit from the deep nap that cold weather cloth allows. Colours seem to be richer, and layers allow for more play in texture and weight.
I have always thought that to live life well it must be lived with generosity. Generosity of yourself, your time, your thought, your means. I like clothing the same way - generous. No skimpy lapels, no flat, bland cloth. Rather rich and rustic, real cloth. Full lapels that roll like a sail under wind. Deep pleats, accessories that are worn and patched and worn and polished. Foulard scarves, challis ties, gloves stuffed in overcoat pockets.
I love the Autumn, I love the Winter. The Irish blood in me revels in it. My wardrobe is richer for it.

Nice assortment…Ed, I really like that brown one…
I find silk print ties to be the hardest to get “right” but when they hit the spot, they are the most gorgeous expression of neckwear.
